Word-Filled Wednesday Matt 6:28

Sponsored by Amydeanne at The 160-Acre Woods, the "purpose of Word-filled Wednesday is to share God’s word through photo’s & a verse!"

I am not skilled with doing computer graphics, but I just thought it would be nice to share an encouraging passage of Scripture today.

"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:" Matt 6:28

After declaring that even the great King Solomon in all his splendor had nothing on the lovely flowers, Jesus asserted, "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Matt 6:30

We dissipate much emotional energy worrying about how we will pay for our daily needs, but Jesus assures us that when we wait faithfully on Him, all our needs will be met.

Very nice picture and verse. Day lilies are my favorite. I tend to feel anxious about things, so this is a good reminder for me today. :o)

WoW Carrie...I waited for the lilies to appear and read your beautiful verse meanwhile but I was thinking that you didn't know how to put the graphics on the photo...as the photo of the day lilies appeared I went WOW she did it...
how very true your words on the verse. Our God is awesome! Thanks for sharing and visiting me.

This is such a neat meme. I've bookmarked it to participate sometime soon. I like your picture and verse.

I'm just now catching up on returning visits from my comments this past week. On my alphabetical Thursday 13 I didn't skip the letter K, I just failed to tag that post as a Thursday 13 post! I fixed it now. (I'm thinking I will need to combine X, Y, and Z into one post though, when the time comes.)
