This post is part of Vintage Thingies Thursday, sponsored by Lisa, the Apron Queen.
This vintage planter in green ceramic is from my mother. I planted a couple small succulent plants in it.
Later I popped in one small hens and chicks plant (sempervivum) that fell off its own planter.
I like the sculpted sides and that it stands on feet.
It is usually on the deck but I had to take it inside because of a great downpour. The planter does not have drainage holes so the succulent would sit and get bogged down
By the way, does anyone know what the name of the succulent plant might be?

Beijos e abraços!
Very nice planter. I've seen that plant before but have no idea what it is.
I'm happy to see the Spiritual Sundays link on your sidebar. I just posted a picture of Ruthie on that blog with her gift.
Hugs,
Charlotte
I love hens & chicks. They'll take over the planter in no time! :) Thanks for sharing.

This is a cool retro planter!
My thumb is not as green as yours,
the plant looks great in it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I read some of your posts. I have some Currier and Ives blue and white dishes - love them. I also a few red crystal pieces. Collectable dishes are things I enjoy.
Enjoyed your blog.
Smiles.
I think the plant is jade, maybe.
I love the texture of the planter.
Love the planter, and the plants look great in it. I was thinking the plant was hens and chicks, but I may be wrong. Nice post for VTT.
Love the color!
Plant goes great in there!
peace
