Your collage garden is beautiful! What a lovely color are the hydrangeas...one of my favorite flowers! So pretty, thanks so much for sharing. Have a lovely weekend!
So pretty! I can't wait until we are out of this FEMA trailer and into a real home with a yard so i can get back to my gardening... and we can plant our new flower garden!
Oh gosh, Carrie-- what a gorgeous collage. I love the combination of photos you chose. It's that intense color of a garden that I think lends so much joy and hope (and stress relief!) throughout the season.
BTW, my daughter and sil are moving to the Boston area in January. They are defending their theses this fall at university and he has taken a job in Natick. I am trying to be happy for them but that s 12 hours away! Folks tell me I'm not losing a daughter but gaining a new vacation spot! Since I've never been north of Philadelphia, I suppose so! It is hard though

Welcome to Oak Rise Cottage, the Home of an Incurable Collector!
In this blog I will be sharing my ventures into the worlds of a collector with multiple enthusiasms. At Oak Rise Cottage there are collections such as items with pineapple motif, blue and white dishes and fabrics, tablesetting components, books in both regular and miniature editions, fruit motif items, Christmas holiday accessories, and so on...The pineapple evokes a hostess' love of sharing house and home with family and friends. Guests to Oak Rise Cottage share the collector's bounty -- based on my view that the house should express the personality and interests of the owner.
