ABCs of the Word – J for Jesus

Pam at Grey Like Snuffie hosts ABC’s of the Word to focus on a scripture in which the week’s letter is highlighted.

This week’s letter is J

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life.
He who comes to me will never go hungry,
and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 6:35 NIV

And this is the testimony:
God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
He who has the Son has life;
he who does not have the Son of God
does not have life.

1 John 5:11, 12 NIV

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?"

John 11:25-26 NIV

We read this verse the other day in our devotional time. I asked my boys what they thought of it...the part about those who do not have the son do not have life...does their heart break for those who do not...who do they know that does not have life? Are they praying for them...and then I asked myself those same questions. Great verse. Blessings to you!
