I Am Really Enjoying This Plant!

I enjoy miniature roses and have purchased them before. So when I got a couple plants of the double impatiens a few years ago, I was struck by how much they looked like miniature roses. Here is a photo I found showing them on my front steps.



I really enjoyed how lush they were:

This June I came upon pots of double impatiens at the local nursery. They had pale pink but this bright magenta color caught my eye. It is labelled, "Fiesta Purple Double Impatiens"


As long as they are kept watered they bloom profusely. When needing water they drop their petals just like the regular impatiens do.

But they perk up very nicely once they have a good drink. It rained some more last night, so they got a great draught.
