On the 15th of each month Yvette of The Charm House hosts a Tour of Collections called, What I Collect.
In her latest post Yvette introduces her collection of boxes and shelves. This reminded me that I have a bunch of different boxes in which I store various small items. Here are a few that are right in my study.
On my desk, next to the computer, is a light green box which holds ephemera waiting to be added to my nativity collection. Behind me is a matching three-drawer case that holds stationery items.
On top the television is a box which has a matching trash basket
On the top shelf of one bookshelf is a wooden box designed as two stacked books:
Do visit Yvette at The Charm House to join the Tour of Collections.

Carrie, these are so useful and so lovely. I suppose the drawers are my favorite. And the ones decorated with the wreath have such Napoleonean grandeur. But I think the most precious must be the one made by your dad. I so much love those people who take the time and the effort and above all the love to make something for a person they love themselves!
Sweet blessings to you, dear friend.
What a gorgeous collection of boxes. They are all so pretty and so useful. Love them all. Hugs, Marty
How neat! I'll have to remember this for next time. I have a few small collections, but I don't obsessively collect just all of any one thing.
Hi Carrie,
Your boxes are great! They're all so different too. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Blessings,
Sandi
Very nice collection. Not only are they pretty, but they are functional too! That's the best kind of collection!
Enjoy your day!
A collection that stores more collections! What a great idea! That box your father made is beautiful! laurie
Box collections always pose the question 'What's inside?' The box your father made is lovely, it must make it all the more special.
