Three or More Tuesday – Covered Serving Dishes

Three or More Tuesday is sponsored by Tam at The Gypsy's Corner.

Today I’d like to share some covered serving dishes that caught my eye as I was looking for multiple items for this post. First is an off-white soup tureen with ladle on the hutch in the kitchen. I told here about how I got this for $3.00 at a thrift shop in town.

Next is a Spode covered dish in the Blue Willow pattern, which is part of the daily breakfast setting on the kitchen table.

Third is a large blue and white covered dish on the top of the refrigerator. This was made in Portugal and I bought it from the Ross-Simon catalog.

Last is a covered vegetable serving dish in the 1936 "Fashion" pattern by Edwin M. Knowles China Co., which is on the dining room table. Nearby are a few Valentine’s leftovers from the weekend when my brother and his wife and son, and my youngest sister came to dinner.

All of these dishes make for instant centerpieces that can be further accessorized with flowers, real or not, or just used to serve soups, stews, vegetables or what you wish.

Please visit Tam at The Gypsy's Corner for more delightful treasures.

Oh, they are all just beautiful. I have been collecting white and I love both of the white tureens you have. I think they are harder to find than the others. Both of your blue and white ones have such pretty patterns. Jus gorgeous. Hugs, Marty

Oooooohhh I love all of those covered dishes. They are BEAUTIFUL!!! I only have a couple of covered dishes and I'm seriously out of storage space and can't bring any more home until I get rid of something else. Happy Three Or More Tuesday and thank you for joining.
Have a wonderful evening,
Tam

Love the off white soup tureen! There is one at my local thrift store, but it was repaired and without the spoon. UGH. And I've been eyeing them! Great dishes!
