Pam at Grey Like Snuffie hosts ABC’s of the Word to focus on a scripture in which the week’s letter is highlighted.
This week’s letter is Z
But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord,
"Look, Lord! Here and now I give half
of my possessions to the poor,
and if I have cheated anybody out of anything,
I will pay back four times the amount."
Luke 19:18 NIV
Jesus offered to come for a visit to Zacchaeus’ home and right away Zacchaeus responds with a change of heart and life. Just the realization that he was important to Jesus, made Zacchaeus reject his former way of life, and the values he had held, and turn to definitive principles which Jesus taught.

Wonderful scripture and depiction of how the Lord can change any person's heart. God Bless Hugs, Marty
He came not for the healthy, but the sick....He went to his home, the home of a sinner. So thankful for His love that sees beyond what we see.
Yes, Jesus causes changes in us, and we do not have to change first in order for him to accept or love us. Praise God!
we always sang the Zachheus song in vbs...great memories...good lesson, well said!
