I have that same tree star!
I love getting cards, but that seems to have dwindled lately. I also love thinking of things that people would love as gifts, not just a sweater or a tie.

What a great post. I love getting cards, but I agree, they are becoming a thing of the past. I save most of mine year after year and have some from YEARS back. I like the festive feeling in the air in December.

Happy Blue Monday! I am enjoying all the Christmas specials this year. And I still need to get my Christmas cards out. You have some very "neat" ornaments. ~ Robyn

Although there's no blue on your table, it is without a doubt the most beautiful Christmas table setting I've ever seen! Please invite me over! I love your blue offerings, and especially enjoyed the nativity and the stocking. Happy Blue Monday!

I love that wonderful stocking! Did you make it yourself? Yes, there are so many reasons to love Christmas. At the moment, however, it is just coming up too quickly! I am certainly not ready.

I just remembered I have several antique postcards with the Nativity on them. Thanks for the reminder - I'll get them out. Sally

i love hearing, seeing, and being involved in the extra outreach that we do through the church for the holidays! I remember so many wonderful Christmas mornings, and the thought of kids not having Christmas due to their parents' mistakes/bad choices hurts my heart.
loved your post!
