Tablescape Tuesday – Evesham

Tablescape Tuesday is sponsored by Susan of Between Naps on the Porch.

This table setting was for my brother’s birthday. I used Royal Worcester “Evesham Gold” dinner plates, dessert plates, covered casseroles. The cloth napkins are in the matching Evesham pattern. The ceramic napkin rings are in fruit shapes – lemon, banana, peach, apple. The green goblets are by Libbey. The flatware, “Estasi” by Mikasa, is stainless with a gilt stripe.

In the center of the table I placed the matching Evesham pattern tea towel. An Evesham covered bowl was replaced with the birthday cake when it came time to cut it.

It was great to have you visit today. For more table settings see the list of participants at Susan’s blog.

Your china is gorgeous...what a great idea to use the tea towel that way, I LOVE it! I want to apologize if you had let me know earlier in the week that you were going to be posting today and I missed it. I was at work all day, but I've added you to the list now. Hope you post again next week...even if it's this gorgeous tablescape again! It's beautiful! Love the napkin rings, too! Susan

You've got one lucky brother. This is so special for a party. I'm bookmarking your page to come back after supper and really check out you blog. I see you have a collection of teapots. I don't have but four, not really a collection. I use mine so they are not on display, they are stored in my cabinets. Can't wait to see more. Sorry I missed you earlier.

Carrie,

I love your tablesetting - the Evesham dishes look great. And the coordinating napkins definitely added a special touch.
