Show and Tell Friday is hosted by the very talented Kelli at There is No Place Like Home
For today’s post is about my clear glass or crystal baskets. I enjoy these for holding fresh flowers and for serving a variety of things for the table.
The first clear glass basket I acquired was from a Williams Sonoma catalog. It is embossed with grapes and has a removable handle made of wood.
I often used this as a server for two kinds of grapes – green and red.
Of course, bread rolls, etc. could also be served in this. The handle comes off for washing or to put in the refrigerator.
Next is the Princess House Crystal large basket. Earlier this spring I had it filled with yellow daffodils, but forgot to take a picture.
The basket is etched with flowers.
The smaller basket also from Princess House Crystal is quite versatile. This is a good size for serving breadsticks or piroulines.

I love crystal. Yours are very lovely. I wish I had a display case with lights to show off crystal.

Wow, you have some beautiful crystal baskets. I guess I am 2 away from a collection!
What pretty little crystal baskets! I wish I could have seen the daffodils in that basket! I don't think I have any glass baskets like these, they are lovely!

Carrie, the baskets are just beautiful!! I don't think I've ever seen one with a wood handle like that! They're all gorgeous!
Your baskets are beautiful! I have the small one from Princess House. I used to be a consultant for them and it's one of the few pieces I kept.
Those are the sweetest little baskets, Carrie!

The baskets are beautiful, Carrie!
Carrie, those are so pretty, and you're right, crystal can be used with any color, and it always adds a sparkle. laurie
Your crystal baskets are so pretty. I can see where they would be very versatile.
These baskets are gorgeous. Flowers would look lovely in them. I guess I would fill them with chocolates wrapped in colourful foils - it would be such a pretty way to serve them..... although the chos wouldn't last long in our home :)
Those crystal baskets are so pretty! My mother used to have some from PH and "yours truly" broke them when I decided it was really okay to play ball in the house, ugh!
