Thankful Thursday - His Power

This week I am thankful that God has granted me the following blessings

I can truly assert that
"In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears." Ps. 18:6

Sometimes dealing with loved ones can be difficult. I had a houseful of relatives visiting me this weekend. During this time the Lord has given me grace under fire so that despite certain conflicts, we still had a mostly pleasant time together as family members.

The opportunity to spend quality time with my sister on Monday. We went to a great consignment shop and had fun together.

My mother’s cold is practically all gone at last.

My brother-in-law helped me with two major projects around the house.

"Be thou exalted, LORD,
in thine own strength:
so will we sing and praise thy power."
Ps. 21:13

Great list! We have to be thankful for even those difficult relatives. They need our prayers too.

Oh I know about family stress. We have a family "get together" coming up. Sometimes I dread it but I know it makes my Mom happy. We do actually have some good times together. You have a nice blog. God Bless~

I'm sorry you've had even more snow, Carrie. Sometimes it seems like spring takes FOREVER to get here! Think of it this way. The extra moisture from the snow will bring even more vibrant and beautiful flowers. Hang in there. Spring has to be not too far away!!!

I'm trying randomly get caught up with blog reading instead of alphabetical order. Seems I never get past "C" when I do that. Your's was the first I clicked on and how appropriate! God must have been guiding my clicking finger. I'll have a house full of relatives one week from today and there is the potential for much stress. I will also call upon the Lord. Good to know you made it through in one peace/piece.

Sometimes it can be stressful to have company in the house. I am glad that you had a great time with your sister. I think sisters will be best friends forever :)

Cool that your brother-in-law was able to lend you a hand with a project.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this past week.

Blessings to you and your wonderful family.
